iPay recently launched the iPay Affiliates’ Program that targets the E-Commerce web development community to train them on how to effectively integrate iPay into their client’s websites and earn revenue.
With shoppers now preferring to buy wares online or make phone-based payments, web developers and merchants are often faced with the challenge of providing a safe online payment solution for their clients.
Speaking at the launch event held at the Nailab, Bishop Magua Centre, off Ngong Road, Managing Director of iPay, Mr. Phillip Nyamwaya said that the iPay Affiliate Programme is a cashback reward scheme that is geared towards the web developer community who have clients who require payment solutions. The idea is to add value to the product offering of digital agencies, freelancers, and web developers. We will give back to this community by sharing our commissions with them,” says Nyamwaya.
Web developers can become Affiliates by registering on the iPay platform to enable them to earn between 5% – 10% of iPay’s own commission for the lifetime of that merchant. Using a unique identifier in the Affiliate System, they can keep track of their commissions on an easy-to-use tracking dashboard.
MERCHANTS BENEFITS INCLUDE :
- iPay providing a single point of payment reference that gives access to all digital payment options licensed in this market including VISA/MasterCard/UnionPay credit and debit cards, M-PESA, Airtel Money & Bulkpay wallet, Eazzypay, PesaLink and other modes of payment.
- The iPay platform also offers a near-instant settlement for the merchant and can work in-store and/or online.
- Using iPay, Merchants are able to track payments using existing shopping carts software plug-ins (https://ipayafrica.com/api), make payments to their suppliers or staff members and pay utility bills. In addition, they can receive the customer to business (C2B) payments using mobile money options but also collect market intelligence from the target market so as to tailor their product and service offerings to the correct needs of the market segment in question.
